EYEBROWS & EYELINER

For Eyebrows, the micro hairline stroke technique is performed on every patient..  More than one color is used to add depth and dimension.  There is no or little downtime with the eyebrow procedure; the area around the brows might be slightly red for a few hours.  The color of the brows appears one to two shades darker immediately after the procedure.

A few days later, a slight exfoliation takes place showing a softer color.  A touch up application will be required approximately six weeks later.

The micro hairline stroke is so beautiful and looks to realistic when healed.  As a rule, when the client is seen six weeks later, there is very little to do for the touch up.

Eyeliner is applied directly in the lash line for a natural look.  Some patients will desire a thicker application which can also be achieved.  The eyeliner procedure has very little discomfort; "it tickles" patients will say.  A little swelling and redness is normal after the original application.  A few days later, a slight exfoliation takes place showing a softer color.  A touch up appointment will be required approximately six weeks later.

The field of permanent cosmetics is not a regulated industry in the State of Arizona. There are many providers offering this service that are not credentialed. As per the HB 2666-441-H, it is unlawful for a person to engage in the business of tattooing out of a home. Make sure you research your provider. The two national organizations offering certifications are the American Academy of Micropigmentation (A.A.M.) and the Society of Permanent Makeup Professionals (S.P.C.P.). In order to keep their credentials, providers must obtain a certain amount of continuing education credits every year.
